I had a conversation with a guy on Linkedin that went bad reala fast. It left me asking myself if I am in fact wrong in my thinking and need to change in some way? Your comments and help in this matter will be most welcomed.

Julius was 19 years old at the University of Oklahoma pursuing a basketball scholarship when he was wrongly arrested and charged with first degree murder. Julius will be executed by the State of Oklahoma for a crime he did not commit. Viola Davis “The Last Defense” docuseries closely-examines and exposes the flaws in Julius case. I love the track on your site. Very conscious, very classy! But….. Can you explain something to me please? He’s in the UK the word ‘Nigger’ is regarded as very racist and as a word that came from slavers. So…. Given that fact, why do black people in America refer to each other as Niggers? It always seems like a serious contradiction to us Brits!

I love all humans. I take no offence to any. I live in peace and with everyone and accept everyone. It seems to me that people who take offence are the real problem in this world. You do seem to have taken offence to me. My question was purely academic and one that was genuinely requesting you educate me about something I know nothing of. Your response seems emotional? I believe there is no room in academia for emotion. In case you doubt my love for humanity, it may interest you to know that My father was Russian, my mother was Indian, my ancestors come from a wide variation of ethnic backgrounds across the globe.
